Quicken 2015 for Mac is a misleading update of the generally loathed Quicken Essentials for Mac. Quicken 2007 for Mac, which works in Snow Leopard through Yosemite (and probably in El Capitan) and is available for $15 from Intuit, supports amortizations. I just got standard wallet sized checks from my major bank. Quicken for Mac 2015 prints them almost ok. There's a numbered amount in the upper right before the check details are spelled out below. Quicken's Print Checks feature specifies this wallet size fine. Quicken for mac free download - macOS Catalina, Quicken, Quicken Deluxe 2018, and many more programs. Quicken Essentials for Mac has been dropped and now there is a Quicken 2015. It looks like it has a lot of features, but at $75 not ready to jump on that bandwagon and upgrade from my Quicken Essentials just yet. I do like the fact that it is compatible with the Quicken iOS apps for iPad and iPhone.

Nov 29, 2018  Quicken Mac 2018 is a glorious flaming waste of time if you want a semblance of tracking investments. I have been using Quicken Mac since 2004. I have diligently been forced into upgrading purely because mac has improved with time and no longer can run older versions of Quicken. I am now on the 3rd round of customer service calls. 'Quicken for Mac 2015' is not even basic: it is sub-standard, for all the reasons I and other reviewers and comment writers have set out in great detail. Mac personal finance software 'basic' includes 1. Multiple currency support, and 2. Ability to read and write native files between any same-branded products on Mac OS and Windows. Overall, Quicken 2015 for Mac is a major upgrade for Quicken Essentials users however, this software still falls far short of the functionality of the Windows version. If you are a Quicken for Windows user there is no reason to switch however, if you are using the Quicken Essentials software this is a must upgrade!

  You can just copy the Quicken app from the Applications folder at the top level of your hard drive onto a thumb drive or other moveable media. Then copy from the thumb drive to the Applications folder on the 2nd computer. You will need to be logged in to an Admin account to modify the Applications folder.

  Thanks for your reply! Thing is the Quicken App 2017 does not open on this other MAc which is on OS 10.9.5, it does not seem to be compatible, it says in the HELP section that I will need QUICKEN 2015 for this other computer, I was not able to find this QUICKEN 2015 APP.

  I think I misunderstood your original question. I thought you were already running a copy of QM2015 on the first computer.
  One option would be upgrade your OX 10.9 computer to 10.10 if possible. OS 10.10 will run QM2017.

  Keep in mind that you won't be able to move a data file back and forth between QM2015 and QM2017.

  Thank you, that's what I thought.
  Unfortunately I can't upgrade this other mac as it is a workstation running older software that won't work on latest versions of the OS.
  So I will probably stay on 2017 on the 1st computer, ans use the Iphone app otherwise!
  I am not surprise it might cause data exchange issues.

  There are 3 alternatives you can consider:

  • If you have mobile devices (iOS or Android) and if all you want to sync is cash, bank, and credit card accounts, consider using Quicken Mobile on a mobile device (as you have mentioned). You can sync more than one mobile to the same data file located on one of your computers, as long as you use the same Intuit ID associated to the data file. Note that this is limited to sync 24 months plus new transactions.
  • use remote access software (several free options, e.g. NoMachine and Teamviewer) to access Quicken on one computer from the other, or even mobile devices (see this great article for complete review of many options (most are free): http://machow2.com/rdp-for-mac/ ). If both are Macs, the built-in Mac OS X screen-sharing may work for you too. The advantage of these solutions is that you retain access to all the features of Quicken, unlike Quicken Mobile. The trade-off is that the host computer cannot really be used for anything else while using Quicken with these remote solutions.
  • use VPN software, a little more complicated to set up but more versatile. You will need to research options for this.

  I go for it on those days that I want to go full on dark, days that I don't feel like toning anything down. Hence, it could easily go from a somewhat pinkish/coppery shade to a bright red, depending on application. Mac describes it as a 'rich warm chocolate' and it is hands down the darkest blush that I own. Film Noir ( Matte): Film Noir is the most recent addition to my growing collection. The colour drew me in and on the day that I purchased it, I struggled to remember if I had ever even seen it at a Mac counter, it just looks like something that I would never have passed up. Mac blush for dark skin tones.

  Hi! I am using Quicken 10 for Windows 7 in a Mac Pro using Parallels 9. I have a serious problem with one of my QW files since all previous registered data has disappeared (show dates 00/00/1900). I can not open the back-up of today (Feb.23/2017). Don't know what to do. Thank you very much for any help on this regard.

  Quilla, Please post your question as a new topic and tag it as a Quicken Windows question. This really isn't a Mac question since you are working in Parallels you are really working in Windows. About the only thing that a Mac expert could help you with would be to suggest that you might restore your entire Parallels virtual machine from a Time Machine or other backup.
