Using the built-in SSH client in Mac OS X

On Unix-like operating systems, thescp command copies files over a secure, encrypted network connection. Scp stands for 'secure copy.' It is similar to the standard Unix command, cp, but it operates over a secure network connection. You can also specify a remote host as both the source. How to use PuTTY SSH keys with the built-in OpenSSH

If you have a PuTTY .ppk format private key and want to use it with the built-in OpenSSH on Mac on the command line or in scripts, you can use the following commands.
